With the majority of users now from Taiwan and Hong Kong many people have shown more interest in local issues and Japanese pop culture than Chinese history or philosophy. Confucius is practically neglected next to Initial D a popular Japanese comic book. The discussions and entries for the latter are more active than for the icon of Chinese philosophy. The once-lively exchange of stories and culture has slowed too.

“That’s Jonathan Andersen’s favorite line in the Appalachian State University alumni video turned YouTube. com sensation and according to Wikipedia an Internet phenomenon. Andersen a junior at Furman posted the video titled “Appalachian University is HT HT HT” almost two years ago. Since then it’s been viewed close to 695000 times appeared on VH1 and landed a page on Wikipedia. org a user-generated online encyclopedia.

Cued by a phrase I must have read or heard I wanted to know what somebody somewhere was claiming to be the “ultimate buy signal. ” Between a quick Web search and the appropriate Wikipedia page I got a very interesting answer. I discovered the “. ” I won’t go into the whole theory of this particular buy signal but Wikipedia explains the payoff in these terms: A buy signal occurs when: Bullish divergence between price and the oscillator is observed meaning prices make new lows but the oscillator doesn’t.

He told one recent edition of the show that he regularly changed his date of birth in his entry on Wikipedia the internet encylopaedia to make himself look younger. Coren who was diagnosed with cancer only recently died at home surrounded by his wife Anne and their children Giles and Victoria who are both journalists. Last night friends and colleagues paid tribute to a man whose career encompassed the editorship of the satirical magazine Punch writing children’s books and a column for The Times and the development of various comedy screenplays. Mark Damazer the Radio 4 controller said: "Alan was the heartbeat of The News Quiz the man around whom so much turned for nearly 30 years. It was not only that he was consistently brilliantly funny but above and beyond that his humour burst with humanity and warmth.
