Anyone can edit an article on Wikipedia. But are changes made by here-today gone-tomorrow editors any good? Studies of other collaborative projects show that most of the work tends to be done by committed contributors hoping to boost their reputation. As a result many social scientists are sceptical of fleeting Wikipedia editors who don’t have a track record to build up or maintain. To see if the prejudice is well founded researchers at Dartmouth College in Hanover New Hampshire evaluated contributions to the Dutch and French Wikipedias. They judged the quality of a contribution by how long it survived subsequent edits and found that edits made by infrequent anonymous users lasted as long as those by committed registered editors.

Hof it turns out (again from Wikipedia not the documentary) was himself a regular customer at the ranch when he purchased it in 1993 for $1 million and invested an additional $500000 to spruce it up. It looks more spruced up on television than in the photos taken from the outside that show a bunch of trailers which is what this ranch really is. n television Hof says the girls get rich.

Not to say that those who study it aren’t far and above us in terms of understanding but unlike physics or chemistry it isn’t reliant on unfathomable precepts. All you need is a decent dictionary (Wikipedia for preference) and some time to read. When the comet Holmes underwent an explosion of light recently it came as a surprise to many. But all of the information presented in the articles sent me running back to the net to understand what was going on. So I’ve broken it down so that there won’t be any encyclopedia runs during this article.
