Experts suggest it is very important to teach children respect for others andtolerance. Nevertheless eventhough parents and teachers cannot really escape the blame for being totallyunaware of the storm that was brewing the Gurgaon case doesn’t really qualifyas a “school shootout”. Seinfeld’s Festivus a tradition
Gloucester Daily Times – Dec 23, 2007
“A lot of it comes down to how you celebrate ‘the holidays’” Leto said. “What kind of party do you have without making people feel bad? Festivus fills that niche because it’s a holiday based on nothing. ” Last December Festivus was the 663rd most viewed article on the online reference site Wikipedia beating out such real-life celebrations as Kwanzaa (672nd) and Boxing Day (696th). ne online store even sells Festivus cards including one acknowledging a donation to the Human Fund and a series of postcards sending “Festivus greetings from Del Boca Vista” the home of Seinfeld’s TV parents. There’s even an unofficial anthem “ Festivus” to the tune of the Canadian national anthem. nnnStaff writer Chris Cassidy can be reached at 978-338-2526 or by e-mail at ccassidy@ecnnews.
