This man helped give me a lot of laughs during my childhood especially but health and financial problems dogged him during the last days of his life. What I Remember Most about Ed McMahonWhen I was a kid I looked forward to hearing the monologue of Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show but of course no Tonight Show jokes would start until after the memorable words “Heeeeeeeeeeeeere’s Johnny” would be proclaimed by Carson’s loyal sidekick Ed McMahon who starred on the show with Carson from 1962-1992.
